Dear Fairfax Families,

Welcome to the Fairfax Elementary PTA! I’m honored to serve as your President, and I’m excited to share a bit about who we are and how you can be part of it.

Many of you already know me from my time as Vice President. Before that, I spent two years volunteering alongside other Fairfax parents, and that experience taught me just how much our PTA shapes the everyday experience of our kids, from the events they look forward to all year, to the small touches that make our school feel like home.

Our PTA exists to support our students, teachers, and staff, and to bring our families together as a community. That looks different depending on the season. Sometimes it’s a fundraiser that helps fund classroom supplies or new equipment. Sometimes it’s a fun event that gives our kids something to look forward to. Sometimes it’s simply making sure every family feels welcomed and informed. All of it matters, and all of it happens because of people like you.

There are so many ways to get involved, no matter how much or how little time you have. You might join a committee, help out at a single event, share ideas at a meeting, or just spread the word to other families. Every bit of involvement makes a difference, and no contribution is too small.

I want to say a special thank you to the families and volunteers who have come before us and built the foundation we get to build on. Their work continues to shape what makes Fairfax special.

As we move through the year, I’ll be sharing updates about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to stay connected. I encourage you to check back here often, follow along on our social pages, and come out to a meeting when you can. Your voice and your presence matter.
